Allyson Anderson Book is a dynamic leader in the field of sustainability, currently spearheading the sustainability program at Baker Hughes, a leading energy technology company dedicated to advancing the energy sector every day. At Baker Hughes, Allyson leads strategic efforts aimed at achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, focusing on driving sustainable operations, facilitating commercial energy transition solutions for clients, and advocating for supportive policies through strategic stakeholder engagement.

Prior to her role at Baker Hughes, Allyson served as the executive director of the American Geosciences Institute and has held various academic, policy, and senior government positions, including teaching at Georgetown University, working for the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and serving as the associate director of strategic engagement at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement within the U.S. Department of the Interior. Her career in the energy industry began as a geoscientist for ExxonMobil.
