Josetta Jones is Chevron’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, a position she has held since February 2021. In this role, Josetta leads the company’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Ombuds functions, and fosters strategic partnerships with business and professional associations to further Chevron’s D&I goals. Prior to this, she was the Managing Counsel for Intellectual Property at Chevron, overseeing a team responsible for protecting the company’s intellectual assets. Josetta’s journey began as an environmental engineer and patent examiner before joining Chevron in 2002. She has been recognized for her work in diversity, receiving multiple awards for her contributions. Outside of work, Josetta enjoys reading, traveling, listening to old-school hip-hop, baking, and spending time with loved ones.
