“Empowering Managers: Elevating Leadership Skills for a Productive Workforce” with Tracee Quinnell, VP of HR at Liberty Energy

Tracee Quinnell began her career with Liberty Energy as the Director of Human Resources in 2013.  Tracee brings 20+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, the majority of that gained in the oilfield.

Tracee attended Indiana University of PA (IUP), studied abroad at Oxford University in the UK, and then returned to IUP to complete her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources with a minor in Economics in 2003.  She then earned her Master of Business Administration degree from IUP, in 2004.  She also holds both the SHRM-SCP and the HRCI-SPHR professional certifications.

Tracee opened up about her journey in discovering her career pathway as a human resources professional. She shared how she took a career assessment and shadowed HR professionals to confirm her fit for the role. She also discussed the value of perseverance when faced with obstacles in job searches or career transitions as she ventured into the oil and energy sector despite her previous HR experience in a different field.
