Richa was encouraged by her parents to excel academically, with hopes that she would become an engineer, a lawyer or a doctor. Despite being advised that “girls do not do Mechanical Engineering,” she decided to pursue it and was the only girl in her class. After being turned down twice by Schlumberger, Richa invested in herself and got her MBA. She then finally landed her dream job at Schlumberger, fulfilling her ambitions.
